FEDA operates from Kigali, Rwanda, while both PAPSS and Afrexinsure are headquartered in Cairo, with Afrexinsure also incorporated in Mauritius.

In line with its mission to enhance African trade and structured trade finance, the Afreximbank Group offers an internship program that provides students with valuable, hands-on experience in the Bank’s operations and objectives. This internship allows young professionals to gain insights into trade finance while contributing fresh ideas to the Group’s overall mission.
Internship Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Afreximbank Internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of one of Afreximbank’s member countries (a full list is available on the Bank’s website), an African diaspora student, or a non-African student with a significant interest in Africa’s development.
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at a recognized institution, ideally studying fields such as economics, finance, business, law, engineering, or social sciences.
- Be proficient in English or French with a good working knowledge of the other language. Skills in Arabic or Portuguese are also advantageous.
- Be between the ages of 20 and 32 during the year of application.
Note: Children of Afreximbank employees are not eligible for this program. In specific cases, exceptions to the eligibility requirements may be made at the discretion of the Bank’s President.

Internship Benefits
Participants chosen for the scheme are qualified for:
- Travel expenses to Cairo at the start of the internship, based on the most economical and direct route from their current location.
- A tax-free monthly stipend of USD 800, plus an additional housing allowance of USD 400 for those relocating from outside Egypt.
- Complimentary accommodation at a hotel selected by the Bank (including breakfast) during the first week of orientation.
- Transportation to and from the hotel upon arrival and departure.
- Assistance with visa processing if required for the internship period.
